We welcome you to the website of our Association, which was created with the aim of promoting and highlighting the cultural heritage of our homeland.<\/p>\n

The main and original inspiration for this initiative came from the books of the late Gymnasium Headmaster Georgios Koukoulis, in which extensive reference is made to Damos of Skaliodan<\/strong>, as well as to the inscriptions of the Hellenistic period concerning the ancient municipalities of Kalymnos.<\/p>\n

This initiative is held under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture and aims primarily to highlight the historical identity of our area, making use of modern digital tools and media. Visitors have the opportunity to learn about all points of cultural interest, either through a physical visit or remotely, with direct and easy access to information. <\/p>\n

The undertaking was particularly demanding, both in terms of the procedures and the necessary approvals, as well as its practical implementation. Nevertheless, after many months of systematic and persistent work by the President, the members of the Board of Directors, and the collaborators, we managed to complete it.<\/p>\n

From the very beginning, we sought to base the implementation of this initiative on local forces: professionals from Kalymnos and the selfless contribution of members and friends of our Association \u2014 as ultimately happened.<\/p>\n

With particular honor and appreciation, on behalf of our Association, I would like to thank everyone who contributed substantially to the realization of this project.<\/p>\n
