Newer small church of Archangel Michael the Taxiarch

Small post-Byzantine chapel dedicated to Archangel Michael. An important religious site for the local community.

The chapel of Taxiarchis Michael, also known as Panormitis, is located in the small settlement of Toichoi. It is dedicated to the leader of the angels and is an important religious site for the local residents.

Toichoi is a small agricultural settlement situated between Skalia and Emporios and has been inhabited since ancient times. The area has a long tradition of beekeeping, which continues to this day, producing exceptional quality thyme honey in its apiaries.

Additionally, along the coast of Toichoi, there were remnants of ruins from the Early Christian church of Saint Soula, also known as Sila.
