Early Christian bath
On the eastern part of the beach of Emporios, about 30 meters from the sea, lie the ruins of a Proto-Byzantine / Early Christian bathhouse. It is partially preserved, with heights ranging from a few centimeters up to 2.60 meters.
Its interior is covered with soil deposits and sections of the collapsed superstructure. Its masonry consists of roughly worked stones, bricks, and a thick lime mortar containing fine gravel. Its external dimensions are 11.20 meters in length and 9.30 meters in width.

The thickness of its walls is 0.80 meters. It is internally divided into separate compartments, which communicate with one another through narrow entrances. On both the eastern and western sides, there is a semi-circular niche, inside which there were probably built bathing basins.
On the exterior of the eastern niche and adjoining it, there is an underground vaulted structure. It has internal dimensions of 2 x 2 meters, and in the middle of its southern side there was an opening 0.60 meters wide, which was sealed in a later phase. At present, and without excavation research, it remains unclear whether this underground structure is related to the space where fire was lit to heat the bath, or whether it was a water reservoir or some kind of storage space.
